Café Clem in Downtown Berkeley mixes urban chic with the soothing warmth of Parisian cafés.

About Café Clem

Re-locating from its former location to downtown Berkeley, Café Clem was recently remodeled by Dorothée Mitrani-Bell at its new Library Gardens location at the foot of the main Library. Dorothée is also the owner of famed Berkeley restaurant La Note. Café Clem mixes urban chic with the soothing warmth of Parisian cafés.

The menu is comprised of an array of mostly organic homemade baked goods and traditional French baguettes, pressed sandwiches, soufflé egg breakfasts, not to mention those delicious pastries.

Open 7 days a week (Monday–Friday: 7am to 6pm, Saturday & Sunday: 8am to 4pm), Café Clem is also available for breakfast and lunch catering, events, and take out orders.
